He charted much of the coastline of northern Siberia and discovered several islands in the Arctic Ocean north of Siberia. He had a tendency towards Excessive behavioral traits...he was accused several times of graft and corruption...he died dirt poor and probably drunk. Like Siberia, Gedenschtrom was Extreme. Eight Trigrams Uprising In China, 1813 was the year of the Eight Trigrams Uprising. Affecting several provinces, ultimately, the uprising was overcome when the Dowager Prince used the forbidden sword to put down the uprising. The Eunuchs at the Forbidden Palace had a role to play in the uprising and it had some similarity to the Boxer Rebellion in 1898.
