(roll for each regiment or battery and roll one die : 1, 2 on time; 3, 4; 1 turn late; 5, 6; two turns late .) They may be voluntarily delayed. Friedland - Russian Optional Deployment Chart Prior to the first turn of the battle, the Russian player rolls 1 die and consults the following table: Roll 0f: 1… no change 2… The Russian Player may elect to deploy two infantry divisions on the east side of the Alle Fluß. The 14 th already starts there and the Russian player must choose another. If the two additional divisions remain on this side of the river for the entire game, the Russian Victory Condition is improved by one level. 3 … The Russian may deploy the 6 th division at any start location. The Russian Dolgorouky Dragoon Division has been delayed on a scouting mission. It arrives on the on the East Side of the Alle Fluß on the Road to the Friedland Bridge at 12: oo am 4… Russian Player may not start with any position batteries on the west side of the Alle Fluß . They may be moved during the game to the west side The right wings receives two additional Cossaque regiments starting anywhere on the East side of the Alle Fluß

5… Four Cossaque regiments are removed from play and are sent off map to locate Murat and Davout.

6… Essen I replaces Bennigsen as overall commander. The morale of the any Russian leader is improved by 2. Bennigsen is removed from play. The Russian 1 st Division starts in Friedland (any town hexes) and must stay within 7 hexes of a Friedland town hex.
