General Notes

PGD Direction

 French Units rout in the direction toward the western edge. Prussian and Russian units rout in the direction of the eastern edge, and then toward Waditz.

French Units Entering the Map

 French units entering the map for the first time may use Road March if there are no enemy cavalry within 10 hexes.

Reaction and Opportunity Charges

 Check the Special Rules and Special Formations for modifications to the Premier Rules. This is a result of the French troop’s lack of experience with enemy cavalry.

French Infantry Types

 Unlike in previous ME games there are several levels of French infantry experience and thus ability. This is reflected in their formations, morale, fire values and other abilities.

Scenario One – The Grand Battle at Bautzen May 21, 1813 As the morning of May 21, 1813 broke forth, there were significant battles on either wings of both armies. As those early morning battles started to subside, then the battles in the center started to develop. To assist Marshal Oudinot on the right of the French line, Marshal MacDonald assaulted and taken Rabitz. He was able to an artillery grand battery close to the Russian lines and relieve the pressure coming from the Russian grenadiers and other troops. This
