La Bataille d’ Austerlitz 1805© Marshal Enterprises

Scenario Ten Historical Battle (Largely Historical) Due to the fog of the early morning (starting with the 8:00 and ending with the 9:40 turn) artillery line of sight is only out to five hexes from the battery and there is no two hex range for skirmishers. Optional Tsar Rule (Optional)-The Tsar’s influence and the complications of the command structure were responsible for some formations inability to move decisively in the initial hours of the battle. Therefore beginning with the 8:00 and ending with the 9:40 turn roll for each column. A roll of 1 or 2 and every combat unit and leader in that column subtracts three from their movement. All associated artillery, aides and leaders begin the game with the formation to which they are named in the order of battle.  Start 8:00 and finish at the end of the 16:00 turn  Boundary – Same Map  The Coalition Sets-up first, then the French  Movement suggestions – with 4 to 6 players: 10 minutes for the French and 8 minutes for the Coalition Start Locations – see leader names or colonne numbers for start location or entry on set-up maps.
