10f Optional Rule – Let Fate Decide Rather than play the relief battle, you can resolve the battle with a few simple die rolls The Prussians get one die plus: One die if the hold Ft. Weichselmunde, One die if they hold Holm and One die if they hold Nehrung. The French get one die plus: One if the hold Holm, One if the hold Nehrung and one if they have completed 8 squares of the Saphead . Each side rolls their dice. For every Coalition die that equals or exceeds the highest French die, the Siege is extended one week (square). If the Siege is ends May 10, French Marginal If the Siege ends May 17 the game is a draw

If the Siege ends May 24 the game is a Prussian Marginal If the Siege ends May 31 12 the game is a Prussian Substantial If the Siege ends June 7 the game is a Prussian Decisive (Friedland is fought June 14, 1807)
